Privacy Policy

Your study is private by default. We collect the minimum needed to run the service, we do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.
What we store
- Your account email and name.
- The kitabs (PDFs / audio) you upload and the text extracted from them.
- The flashcards generated from your material and your review history.
- Basic usage records (for rate-limiting and reliability).
Who processes it
We use a small set of service providers, only to run the service:
- Supabase — hosting, database, and file storage. Your rows are protected so only you (and, for moderation, an administrator) can access them.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — generates flashcards from your uploaded text. Text is sent to generate cards and is not used to train models.
- Resend — sends the optional daily reminder email.
- Sentry & PostHog — error tracking and anonymous usage analytics. These receive only a random user identifier and counts — never your name, email, or study content.
The reminder email is optional. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time — no login needed.
Your control
- Delete any kitab (and its cards) from your library at any time.
- Request deletion of your whole account and its data by emailing us.
- Unsubscribe from reminder emails at any time.
What we never do
No selling of data, no advertising networks, no interest-based payments — in keeping with the project’s values.
